TIMESBANTEN, JAKARTA – There will be around 40.000 students which will join the Community Service at 10 University in Indonesia. Those 10 universities were a member of Enterpreneurship Community Service Consortium (Konsorsium Kuliah Kerja Nyata-KKN) which has signed an MoU with the USAID Mitra Kunci Initiative.

The 10 universities are, the Universitas Padjajaran, Universitas Suryakancana, Universitas Siliwangi, Universitas Kuningan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Jember, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jawa Timur, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.

"The MoU become the milestone of the cooperation for every department to conduct an enterpreneurship community service," the Director of Pembelajaran Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Dr. Paristiyanti Nurwardani said on Tuesday (11/6/2019).

The USAID will give some support on development of training curriculum, guidance module, monitoring mechanism, and evaluation in the implementation of Entrepreneurship Community Service. This surely will help the students to be the next enterpreneur in the future.

In addition, USAID Mitra Kunci Initiative will also give a Training of Trainers (ToT) for around 205 from 57 universities in West Java, Central Java, and East Java. This thematic Enterpreneurship Community Service (KKN) was hope to be able to decrease the number of unemployment in Indonesia. (*)
